Zed Days series by Nick Harland (#1-3)
Requirements: ePUB, AZW reader, 2.83 Mb
Overview: Nick Harland has been publishing for many years but it has always been fact, or as close to fact as medical articles can be! He is comparatively new to the realm of writing fantasy but has found he much prefers it. He started writing when he couldn’t sleep, the first pages of a novel buzzing endlessly around his head. Eventually he wrote them down just to get rid of them, but of course, all it did was make it worse. Day or night he still writes almost exclusively from his bed. Other than being an author Nick has a black belt in Karate and a PhD in pain. He is a husband, a father, and at the mercy of two cats and one giant dog. He hopes you enjoy joining him on his escape.
Genre: Fiction > Sci-Fi/Fantasy

Book 1:
My name is Brad. This is the story of how I survived the Zombie Apocalypse. I don’t like to talk about it much, but I’m here because I’m lucky, and because when it all happened I was on a 24 hour computer games bender playing Project Zomboid, my favourite Zombie survival game. That’s why I don’t like to talk about it, it’s a little embarrassing. This is the story of how my life is better, yes better, since it all kicked off. When it happened I figured I’d never have sex again, but I’m delighted to repot that’s not the case. There is the expected gore and violence and because I can’t think of any scenario that justifies it more, there is swearing. This is the story of why playing Zombie computer games is good for you and of what actually makes a good base, and a good weapon, in a Zombie apocalypse. There are other survivors, but there aren’t many. Not everyone is friendly, but when your life’s on the line every day you get good at fighting. Read on to find out what happened to the world, as I guarantee you’ll never guess, and how we survived. The future is far from certain, but this is the start of it…
Book 2:
My name is Brad and, amazingly, I’m still surviving in a Zombie apocalypse. It’s been a few weeks now and I’ve already written down a lot of what’s happened so far. Things are getting even more interesting since then though. We’ve found a load more survivors and we’re developing our base and Zed killing tactics. It’s getting so busy we’re considering splitting up. I’m in a love triangle and because we could die any day it’s going well. When you could die any day you don’t tend to sweat the small stuff, and the sex is amazing. We’ve had problems though. Not everyone we’ve rescued turned out to be nice and the Zeds are getting even more dangerous. We’re onto the mark two versions of the freaks and they’re brutal. Because the two women I’m with are not only sexy, but also smart, we’re making progress on fighting the infection, colonisation, invasion, whatever. We’re not invulnerable though, we’ve lost people, and not only to the Zed’s. Don’t even get me started on Eve’s husband or I’ll rant. But like I said, I’m still surviving and I’m getting better at it. My immunity has given me a kind of Zed sense but you’ll have to read about the details if you want to. I still miss milk, but we’re even making progress there…
Book 3
My name is Brad, and this whole Zombie apocalypse thing is getting interesting. I’m still in love with two women, and the sex is still amazing, but like my mum used to say, ‘All actions have consequences.’ We met a few more survivors and got organised, armed, and provisioned, and then we got restless. We met a whole other type of Zombie we’re calling a Hybird. We only know of one, or I think we’d be dead. They’re super-smart, almost human, and have complete control over every Zombie around, it’s scary as hell. Eve and I went on a mission. I won’t spoil the surprise about why we left Esme behind, but like I say… consequences. We cut the mission short to go back for reinforcements, and hit the jackpot when we returned, but the cost was too high. It’s a whole other ballgame with a hybrid out there, and she made it personal. You’ll have to read on to find out what happened. It’s a whole final battle with the powerful bad guy, or girl in this case, kind of thing.
