Overview: John Fedorka was born on October 14, 1951, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, the eldest of four children of John and Giselle Fedorka. With frequent trips to the family summer cottage in Erie, Pennsylvania, he spent his entire childhood in the Rocks and attended the Roman Catholic parish school at Saint Mary’s Help of Christian for 12 years.

1. The Last Born
Imagine you are the prophesied last born of a dying race. Do you heed the angry cries of the old and seek vengeance for the death blow? Or, do you listen to the whispered hopes of the young and search for a way to restore your race to its ancient glory? Chork, the last elf born, not knowing how to do either, wants neither.
Rejecting his prophesied destiny, Chork flees his elven home and finds refuge in the human town of Kent. There, he settles into a life of service and purpose, of hopes and dreams, of respect and honor.
When a disgraced constable commits a heinous murder and helps to destroy Kent, Chork pledges revenge and chases the murderer across Brehm. Along the way, he bonds with two dire wolves, makes new friends, and meets the mysterious and contrary hummingbird wizards. Will you follow the path of Chork, the last born elf?
2. Decision at Donham
Recovering from his near fatal wounds at the Battle of Lavanham, Chork, the last-born elf, resumes his quest for knighthood. But first, he must complete the task magically and irrevocably given him by Prince Bomelith – to seek out Cenedril’s last-born Billy Tipton, an authority on The Last Born Prophecy.
With dire wolves Maul and Dirk at his side, the young elf befriends Elvenhawk, and together, all four set out for Northbridge and the Tower of Learning. Their path leads them through the Wasteland, a dark and dead battle site rife with ghouls and revenants, to the Elven Enclave of Ailinmar, where friends and aid are not who or what they seem.
On the other side of the world, Billy leaves the Tower to hunt for a saboteur, a powerful and ruthless sorceress. Billy and her friends, fellow elf Pox, and twin dwarves Citra and Sitca, follow a trail of death and destruction through bugbear infested lands along the Ice River in pursuit of their quarry.
3. A Knight’s Loyalty
Resolute in his rejection of his prophesied destiny, Chork resumes his quest for knighthood. With his dire wolves Maul and Dirk, The Last Born departs from the free town of Donham. Leaving behind his best friend Elvenhawk, Chork makes for Gunter’s Island, home to the Order of the Knights of the Lily, half a world away.
During this leg of his journey, The Last Born encounters other Hummingbird Wizards, bonds more last-born elves, and faces the greatest challenge to his chosen path – Elven Prince Ellessar of the Blue Leafs.
Meanwhile, the kingdoms of Brehm begin to crumble as Emperor Rhince’s plans take root. Civil war erupts in Giran. A religious schism arises in Goole. A plague of the undead assails Donham. Kidnappings and assassinations beset Monck. Mysterious invaders appear in The Bog, home of the Swamp Elves. An impending alliance between orcs and bugbears threatens the Elven Forest.
