Overview: Rick AW Smith, a fan of fantasy, decided it was time to contribute ... while working in the cold dark reaches of northern Russia. Rick has recently returned to live in Canada after touring the world for fifteen years (through work), where he is busy finishing book three of the trilogy ‘Seeds of Balhok’. His ambition to write began many years ago when he was asked to stand in front of his literature class to read a couple of short stories that he had written. But like many youthful ambitions, this one needed to incubate for decades.

A thousand years ago, a great civilization fell. Their power and ambitions lay buried in the dusty corridors of time, forever beyond the reach of the new empire of the Guilds. Then Urshen had a Dream that opened the door to a power that could change his world forever.
2. The Necklace from Harleem
For millennia, a dark power laid at the bottom of a Waterless Well. Then one day, Bellaroos, an unsuspecting Redemption Guild Brother, found it. Mesmerized by the mystical attraction of The Necklace, he placed it around his neck, as an eruption of Green Light gave him the power to rule the world of Ankoletia.
3. The Caves of Balhok
Watched from the fringes of the Galaxy, Ankoletia and its coveted treasures are no longer safe.
Ambition, confusion and a dark power threaten both continents. As a handful of men desperately seek the hidden secrets of Balhok, the Plunderers from Harleem have already commenced the day of Harvest.
