Overview: When TJ Adams wasn’t riding a camel through the Rajasthani desert, white water rafting the rapids on the Zambezi, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls bridge or hiking the peeks in Pakistan, she was piloting a twin prop into remote aboriginal communities in northern Western Australia or staring down a microscope in a laboratory. Now somewhat tamed, the microscope has morphed into a computer and she spends more time plotting dire situations for her protagonists than being in them herself. Russian roulette with the supernatural, is there any question who’s going to win?
I made a deal with the Devil to save Matteo’s soul. I had to do it. The kiss to seal the bargain was nice, but carrying the Devil’s essence around inside of me is making me do bad, bad things.
Fighting against a cult hoping to raise an ancient evil was not on my list of to-dos, but Matteo just won’t stop his search to uncover the truth of Trinity’s death. Things get out of control when the leader of the cult decides Matteo will make the perfect replacement for his dead sister, or the perfect vessel for evil.
I’ve got to halt a summoning of uber evil, save the luscious Matteo and eject the Devil from my system before Death finds out I’ve been a bad, bad angel and rips me from this body, effectively ending my immortal life.

When all else fails, you need an angel, but which one, me or the Host?
A powerful jinn with some handy magic has possessed Matteo’s ex and is sinking her hooks into him. She wants to make him her puppet, and I can’t do anything about it as my measly supernatural power is limited to talking to ghosts. Oh, and did I happen to mention the Nephilim apparently have plans for me?
Enter an arrogant, but smolderingly hot, angel, a bunch of babbling elementals, and I discover what I need is a jinn hunter. Great to know, until I discover the hunter I’m after is sister to one of my reapers, Kiara, and she’s none too happy.
But that’s beside the point. I need to arm the jinn hunter, tame the angel and cork the jinn into a bottle before she turns Matteo into something dangerous, or me into a donkey. Thank god Death is too busy drinking coffee in Rome to bother about my blatant disregard for the rules.
