The Highway To Never After Series by S.K. Munt (#1 - #4)
Requirements: ePUB/Mobi Reader, 4.8 MB
Overview: I write BIG stories and thrive on drama, passion, heat and above all else, sentimentality. I have a thing for love-triangles and though my love scenes could be classified as erotica, there is so much more to my stories than the romance, and that you can count on! I love writing from all perspectives and alternating characters, male and female, and I love slipping in plot twists you won't see coming!
Genre: Scifi/Fantasy

#1 - Palpitations - Good girls don't smoke. Good girls get their immunizations. Good girls die in the first five minutes of the zombie apocalypse. It's a good thing that Charlotte's only been pretending to be a good girl. Her naughty streak is either going to save her life, or get her devoured. And there are worse things going bump in the night, than the red-eyes. A suspenseful, sexy and sinful road-trip to the end of the world and back again. iT's science fiction meets horror meets comedy and a romp to end all romps!
#2 - Sanguivorous - Isaac Hayes always gets what he wants, and Charlotte Swift has always resisted submitting to him, only to succumb to his demands to protect her in the end, because she never cared enough about anything to fight for something else. And so Isaac had his true love, polished and gleaming, like so many of his hard-earned trophies. They were content, she was safe, and Isaac was triumphant. But now that Will Furlough is in the post-apocalypse picture, Charlotte's determined to keep him there, or walk out of Isaac's perfect frame all together. Isaac doesn't want to lose her, but now that Charlotte has morphed from being his passive aggressive sweetheart, to his hostile captive, Isaac's got no choice to up the ante to keep her safe. To keep her medicated. To keep her guilt-stricken and indebted to him. To make her his again before Will gets back. She's left him no choice, really and in the end, he knows she'll thank him for rescuing her from herself again. After all, the Doctor always knows best, right?
#3 - Kinemortophobic - It has only been four days since Z-Day, and Charlotte and Will are over it. The death, the homicidal maniacs, the jealous ex-lovers, the blood... all they want to do is get across the smouldering city of Hillsborough and to The Lakes Estate in Banksia, an off-grid housing estate that they just know is going to be the perfect place to rest, recover and repress. And all they have to do get there, is cross one tiny town... On a river full of corpses. In a boat that keeps breaking down. In the middle of a gusty winter's night. While one companion lies dying. And the other is yearning to die...
With low tide fast approaching and sunrise still hours away, Will, Charlotte, Chelsea and Kyle have to find a way to get out of the bloody, turbulent, shark and crocodile infested waters of the Fitzgerald River, and the only way they can do that is if they put their fears, insecurities and issues aside and work as a team. The problem is, every single one of them is injured, traumatized and just as ready to take a bite out of one another as the zombies are, and Will's about to find out that leadership is a trait that is not inherited, but earned. Zip up your life jackets- the water is cold, rough, wet and full of teeth, and what waits for them on land is exactly the same.
#4 - Thanatophobia - It's almost been a month since the R-04 virus eradicated twenty-five percent of the world's population and then began to chew away at the remaining survivors, one by one. There are enough of them left standing to unite and to fight back against the undead, but they're so busy fighting amongst themselves for possession of what is left of the world that they knew, that the sanguines are slithering in between the cracks of humanity and feasting on the excess of bad blood that's now flowing freely due to human hands.
Some hate in the name of love. Others fight for power over things that are worthless. Some kill to prevent murder. And others are trying so hard to outrun their past, that they're missing their present. All of them yearn to restore the world that made them miserable before, but that's the thing: you can't bring what's dead back to life, and expect it to be the same. The only way the human race is gonna survive, is if they evolve together.
