Overview: Astrid Cailmel is a seemingly normal person on the world of Terra Ancora, a world filled with magic, monsters, and surprisingly good technology. After going on a date with a dear friend of hers, Jason, she is ambushed by someone who claims that an unknown person desires her death, and attempts to kill her. During the attempt on Astrid's life, however, she demonstrates powers that could only be described of as divine in origin.
Spurred on by the mystery of her seeming divinity, as well as this mysterious person who wants her dead, Astrid and Jason attempt to unravel a murder plot against her, along the way making friends such as Rebecca and Sarah, in addition to the mysterious Qusab. However, Astrid's powers cannot remain a secret forever, despite how badly she wants to be a normal person. Will Astrid be able to uncover the mystery of her attackers, as well as balance out her seemingly-divine station, or will she fail to reign in potential zealous followers that will form in her name?
