Requirements: .ePUB reader, 320 KB
Overview: This book is a collection of four stories: The Haunting of Moonbase 13, The Robot Impersonator, The Bounty Hunter: Into the Swarm, and The Monster Slayer: Werewolf .
Genre: Fiction > Sci-Fi/Fantasy

The Haunting of Moonbase 13 -- The first Lunarling is born to a celebration linked from Earth all the way to the Moon. Daisy Sayers is a perfectly ordinary little baby girl. Absolutely nothing wrong with her. Not a thing.
The Robot Impersonator -- In the future there is a machine that can pinpoint the way in which you will die. People pay for the machine's test, get their results, and change their lives forever. For some, the result can be as vague as "Heart Attack." Some are luckier and told more specifics, such as "Drowning," or "Car Crash." People spend their lives avoiding the thing that will ultimately kill them. Robert Green is still saving for his death test, and is willing to do some of the dirtiest jobs of the future to take it: meat vat harvester, video game bad guy, robotic limb testing, and alien bacterial trials. He'll even work part-time in the past, recording history for the future. Rob eagerly awaits the day that he can begin his life properly far away from what he will be told will kill him. The knowledge of his death, however, may not be as liberating as he hopes.
The Bounty Hunter: Into the Swarm -- The story of Burke and Cass continues with a return of an old foe from Burke's past. The dross, an alien infestation that has claimed several of humanity's planets, including Earth, has haunted Burke since he fought in the war against them. Now, years later, he finds himself facing them once again.
The Monster Slayer: Werewolf -- The fourth story in the series takes place eight months after Kate woke up with her memories erased. She and Calder are called to the city of Salim, upriver from Harkam's Bridge and built on the coast of a great lake. A monster is feeding on people in the docks. A monster that, according to the books that were left to Kate, shouldn't exist.
