Overview: ShepherdStone is a broad account of many worlds fighting for their survival. With only the power to defend, children are trained for war as young as 12 in order to survive. These children are the remnants of what was once called ‘The Old-Kingdom’; a paradise that was overthrown by a forgotten Prince and his factory world called Alveo. Now, the hot planet of Alveo spews out gangly exoskeletons infected with A.I. each raging spitefully against the surviving children.
After 200 years of fighting, a powerful exoskeleton named Celo, expertly crafted for the royalties of the Old-Kingdom, is discovered deep underground. The cryptic machine refuses to host any person, and only alludes to its origin called “ShepherdStone”. Intrigued by the frail device, and with little hope of survival, the High-Court scrapes together a humble crew to go and see what ShepherdStone might be. As they disembark on a grand adventure, and with Alveo hot on their tail, a young girl name Atria finds herself to be the only crew member that Celo will host with. By the abilities granted to her by Celo, combined with her own personal gifts, Atria finds herself to be civilizations greatest and final hope as she surpasses uncountable foes, her own troubled mind, and a forgotten Prince who is particularly interested in finding ShepherdStone first.
