Overview: Krista S. Rose has always been fascinated by fantasy, and has been building the world of Ca’erdylla for eighteen years. 1. Whispers of Heaven
It is a sad truth that in the aftermath of great pain, it is in our nature to seek out the darkness, for we think that we will find healing there. But it is in the darkness that we forget that there was ever light, and grow shriveled and ugly in the shadows where we cannot be seen, twisted into something horrifying in the wake of our tragedy.
2. ShatterStar
We thought we had escaped the darkness, but it followed us, a macabre shadow wherever we ran. Perhaps we are cursed to wander the earth, doomed by some petulant god to never rest in one place. Surely that can be the only reason why such suffering seems to trail in our wake.
