1. Storm Witch - My name is Scarlet Jones, and I’m a witch…of some kind. Probably.
Those who knew me growing up, thought of me as a spoiled little brat they didn’t want to have anything to do with. I did break things on purpose, stole others, and I may or may not have set half my school on fire, but come on! They were being too hard on me.
I grew up in a family full of strong Blood witches, in which my strange magic never belonged. I thought I was the only one of my kind out there, a true freak of nature, and I liked it that way. I lived on my own, learning to hunt these creatures nobody seemed to know anything about, a bunch of mindless thingies who were in the habit of sucking my magic dry wherever they found me. I even set up a party for them, just so I could teach them some manners.
But my plan went to hell when four strangers crashed the party, people who apparently were like me. Just like that, I no longer felt like a special little flower. With four unconscious bodies at my feet and no idea what was going on, I thought that was the worst it was going to get. Boy, was I wrong…
The rest of my life is only just beginning, and by the looks of it, it is not going to be a smooth ride.
2. Storm Power - The demons are after us. The ECU is after us. What are the odds that we'll ever stop them from hunting us down?
Very low.
Good thing I'm all up for impossible challenges.
When the demons came into the ECU's "research" facility where we were being held prisoner, the strange dragon attached to my hand came to life, giving me a way to end those suckers for good. We might have made it out alive, but a lot of witches like us didn't. Instead, they were kidnapped by the demons.
We can sugar-coat it all day long, but we all know it was my fault. I brought those demons to the facility. Now, I have to set the people they took free.
With a Hedge witch by my side, whose name is on the ECU's most-wanted list right under mine, I plan to claw my way through those demons until every last one of them is dead, and until the ECU stops trying to wipe us off the face of the earth.
It's time the whole world knew that we're the new witches in town, and we're here to stay.
Another good thing is that pretty much nothing went as planned, or this story would have been boring as hell.
5. Storm Vengeance - I’d tell you I’m on the run again, but you probably want to hear something new.
Erick Adams, the devil incarnate and a leader of our people, had the key that could have put an end to the world’s misery long ago—right until I stole it from him. I thought I was showing him when I slapped the truth on his face, and three members of the demon hunting team I was working with heard it, but I didn’t. I just put them all in Adams’s shit-list.
Maddox Wilder, aka Captain Asshole, is the only one from my former team willing to stick with me until we did the only thing we could do—get our freedom back. My best friend Elisa finally came back to me, too, and the three of us are out to do the impossible: bring Erick Adams down in front of the whole world.
But Adams is no fool. He’s two steps ahead of us at all times, and we found out the hard way when our plan failed epically, and now, he has the Spellmaker kid, too. To beat him, we’re going to have to accept help from three complete strangers: a Bone witch, a fairy, and a fairy-slash-Bone-witch, who may or may not put a bullet in our brains when we least expect it.
With the key gone and the Spellmaker under Adams’ clutches, I have to do everything I can to survive so I can put an end to this. Unfortunately, putting an end to things is about to get very close to impossible.
