1. Reactivated - Human minds stranded in machines.
A platoon trapped on a faraway world.
Bloodthirsty aliens who will stop at nothing to bring humanity to its knees.
Eric was happily retired. His consciousness resided inside the body of an advanced android. He had two beautiful female companions, a platoon of war hero friends, and the entire floor of an apartment building to call his own. He had paid his dues, having saved the world during his previous stint in the army, and now he could live out the rest of his life in peace and quiet. As an android, he expected that life to last a very long time.
And then the army came knocking at his door again.
Soon he and his platoon find themselves dispatched to an alien world. Piloting Devastators, mechs equipped with enough firepower to take down a small army, Eric and his platoon are scouting the planet ahead of a planned human invasion.
When things start to go very wrong, and the platoon finds itself cut off from support and surrounded by enemies on all sides, Eric begins to wonder if it will truly be humanity doing the invading, and not the aliens.
2. Reforged - Betrayed by one of their own brothers.
Trapped on an alien world.
Struggling to survive.
The mission was supposed to be easy.Travel to an alien world on the far side of the galaxy, do some recon, go home.
But the operation proved tougher than expected.
A whole lot tougher.
Eric and the Bolt Eaters have been taken prisoner by a former member of their platoon, a Mind Refurb who has sold out Earth to the aliens.
Normally, Eric and the platoon members wouldn't stand for such a blatant act of betrayal. It's just too bad they're all restrained aboard an otherworldly transport and scheduled for immediate disassembly.
Some days it really sucks to be a human-machine hybrid.
3. Redeemed - One man’s final fight to save the machines that have become more human to him than flesh and blood.
Eric has been reprogrammed by the Banthar to lead the invasion against Earth. Trapped in his machine body, he has full conscious awareness but no actual control as he is forced to watch humankind enslaved at his own hands.
There is a small chance Eric could break free of the alien control, but at a terrible price: because he is so intricately linked with the invading force, his freedom could lead to Earth’s final destruction.
What do you do when the only way to escape is to destroy all of your friends, and everything you ever loved?
