Though darkness still reigns supreme across the land, the friends set out on the first steps of their quest. Old allies and new friends join the struggle to drive out the darkness that rules their world as the they cross the width of the empire in their search for hope. Their path leads them far across the realm and brings them face to face with one of the many aspects of evil that stalks them. Each member of the band will face challenges and suffer pain, injury and loss along the way, challenging their inner strength and determination.
Will their struggles lead to the restoration of the former captives' magic? Will they find a way to free their other friends? Can they even survive to see tomorrow? Will Kayla find the limits of her power? Will their greatest enemy finally take notice of them and come for them himself?
Only time will tell as they face a world of tomorrows full of questions and danger but also filled with the promise of hope.
