It's been three months since Mieshka “Meese” Renaud exploded her Fire Element into the sky and burned the capital's shield back into life, and her Element has finally returned. Winter break has been filled with firearms lessons, hand-to-hand training, and clandestine tours through the tunnels of Ryarne's secret underground city.
But time is running out. With the war pressing ever closer to her doorstep, Mieshka has other worries—especially when the city's most powerful Mage starts gunning for her blood.
3. Palace of Glass- Bigger city, bigger trouble.
After their escape from occupied Ryarne, Mieshka, Aiden, and the rest of their crew can't wait to touch down in Mersetzdeitz. As the de facto world capital, it holds a neutral position in all global conflicts, and its large population of Mages, attack-proof shield, and joint military forces make it impossible to penetrate. The city is safe, secure, and promises to get Mieshka started on the one thing she wants most: learning to control her Fire Element and the Phoenix along with it.
But not all is as it seems. A deadly plot has dethroned the last Council Head, over half the Council is either missing or murdered, and, with attacks hitting the city daily, security is stretched thin.
Everyone is on edge.
It isn't long before Mieshka is thrown head-long into a race to save the government, the city, her friends, and herself. With the Phoenix burning ever hotter under her skin, and enemies moving fast around her, it'll take every bit of power and cunning her team—joined by the Resistance and a Wind Spirit—can come up with to get out alive.
4. Earth Awakened - Out of control, with nowhere left to hide.
Before absorbing an Earth Elemental spirit, McKay was a soldier in a steadily failing war. Now, the war is lost, she's loaded with magic she can barely contain, and her entire life has flipped onto its back.
When she finally loses control, she must turn to Gobardon, an Earth Mage with a dangerous past, for help.
But Gobardon has other plans. Plans that take her right back into the heart of her old country and the war she lost.
Javen Dantrell lost everything in the war: his life’s work, his home, and every single student in his class. Bitter, jaded, and armed with a unique brand of magic, he now leads a small group of refugees in an attempt to survive and avoid the Swargardian patrols that now occupy his city.
Now, those patrols are closing in, and he needs to find them a new home.

Guardian Force - Eight months have passed since Mieshka Renaud fought for her life and brought down the coup in the labyrinth of tunnels under the Kjaran military base in Mersetzdeitz, and things are looking up: she and her dad have a nice apartment, she's caught up with her schoolwork, learned a decent amount of the Mages' language, kept her head down, and worked on her powers.
But nothing stays quiet in the city for long. And soon, they will discover that the city has a whole new level of secrets that no one had ever found before.
