Solemn Duty (Book 11)
Solemn Duty is the eleventh book in the Survivalist series. Fleeing an army of the infected, Deputy Marshal Mason Raines is forced to enter an area overrun with lawlessness. When his ex-lover is kidnapped, he must negotiate her release with a brutal warlord set on expanding his empire. Coerced to do his bidding, Mason is recruited to hijack a secret convoy running between the newly-established colonies. Road Home (Book 12)
Following the tragic death of his deceitful lover, Mason hopes to return to the one place where a peaceful life might still be possible. Together, they travel to her hometown of Clover, South Carolina, an idyllic community protected by a police chief and his faithful deputies.
