My name is Tamara Bentley, Bent to my friends, and I'm not supposed to exist. I was born of the forbidden union between a witch and a werewolf, and they've been trying their damnedest to hide my existence ever since.
But now my secret is out, and my uncle, the leader of the wolf pack, is pissed beyond belief. In his eyes, I'm something that should've never been born. He wants me dead and doesn't care who he has to sacrifice to get the job done.
I'm far from helpless, though. Not only am I a champion athlete, but I'm strong enough to punch out a bus. Good thing, too, because a rare lunar event is about to increase my uncle's already terrifying power. I'll have to call on every last ounce of strength I have if I want to survive the night and save the lives of everyone counting on me.
2. Bent Outta Shape - Half witch, half werewolf, ALL attitude.
My name's Tamara Bentley and I should be happy to be heading home for the holidays. Too bad tensions between the supernatural forces surrounding my hometown are at an all-time high - witches and werewolves, ancient enemies who would happily slaughter each other. One side fears me, the other doesn't know I exist, and I aim to keep it that way lest they both decide to find common ground in killing me.
Now an offer for peace has been extended, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the two warring races to settle their differences. So, of course, someone is looking to screw it all up. Not only do they want to put an end to the fragile peace before it can even begin, but they're looking to shift the balance of power by blowing open the gates that protect our world from the things that lie beyond.
After a surprise attack leaves both sides crippled, my friends and I are the only ones left who can stop their plans. Sadly we're outnumbered and outgunned. Even my unique heritage might not be enough to save my family, my friends, and everything I hold dear before Hell itself is unleashed upon the Earth.
3. Bent On Destruction - BEING BOTH A WITCH AND WEREWOLF MIGHT NOT BE ENOUGH...
My name’s Tamara Bentley and lately everything I touch turns to crap. My best friend is missing, I was forced to kill my favorite aunt ... oh, and my parents have been kidnapped by the queen of the fairies. It’s enough to give a person a complex.
There’s no time to drown my sorrows, though. I’ve got two warring factions to contend with. Neither the witches nor the werewolves like me, much less respect me, but somehow I need to rally them to my cause if I’m to have any chance of rescuing my parents.
And that might be the least of my worries. A dark force has been unleashed and it’s dead set on introducing me to a whole new world of hurt. I’ll have to dig deeper than I ever have before to stop its plans, save my parents, and face off against a freaking goddess. No pressure there, right?
