Overview: I spent my youth in the land of make believe. School was a bore, and growing up in the "Boonies" without cable television forced me to use my imagination. If I wasn't holed up in my bedroom playing with my vast collection of action figures, I could be found in the forest with a wooden sword or staff in hand, battling the forces of evil. As an 80's kid, I was raised on a healthy diet of movies like Star Wars, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Goonies, and endless other classic (but strange) movies.

Dark Echoes of Light (#8)
The Mantle of Darkness has a new bearer. The world is safe from the unbridled powers of darkness, for now… After years of turmoil, Agora is safe. The land was ravished, kingdoms have fallen, and its people were decimated, but the survivors will rebuild, the land will heal. Drindellia, the homeland of the elves, beckons adventurers from across the sea. The humans and elves have settled on the western shores of the distant land, and the dwarves have reclaimed the ancient home of Ky’Dren. But the ancient homeland keeps many secrets. Blackthorn Rising
For ten long years young Dirk Blackthorn has followed his drunken father from one city to another, always having to cheat and steal for his next meal, and never knowing what the future might hold. A magician turned con artist, Dirk’s father Thad has taught him everything he knows. After being driven out of just about every southern city in Agora, they have come to Kell-Torey in search of a new beginning. With winter on its way, and all but a rusty coin spent on his father’s drinking, Dirk must make full use of his skills if they are to survive the harsh northern cold. As Thad descends deeper into his drunken delirium, Dirk becomes determined to make a name for himself in the city’s criminal underworld. Featuring two of Legends of Agora’s most beloved characters, Blackthorn Rising is a fast-paced coming of age tale wrought with sword and sorcery, it is a story of failure and triumph, and a testament to the unrelenting spirit of defiance and adventure within us all.
Fendora Falling
Abram is a young commander rising through the ranks of the Uthen-Arden army. After recovering from a wound that should have killed him, Abram is tasked by his General with an impossible task: Unite the Elves and Dwarves to defend Fendora Island. The barren island yields no bounty, but it is perhaps the most important place in Agora, for it is the only thing keeping Eadon and his Dark Elves from gaining a foothold. If Abram is successful, the general has vowed to personally recommend him to the king. But for Abram, the reclamation of the island fortress is personal. For it was upon this cold rock that his father fell in battle. More than glory, Abram is out for vengeance. But when he learns that the dark elves may have already infiltrated Agora, Abram is thrust into a world of magic, prophecy, and lore. For there is one spoken of who might defeat the ancient dark elf lord, and Abram intends on finding him.
Ro'Sar Lost: A Legends of Agora Short Story
Whill of Agora fans: Journey back to Agora and witness the fall of Ro'Sar and the rise of Roakore!" Roakore, son of the dwarven King of Ro'Sar, is content with his life as a smithy. His creations are highly sought by warriors, kings, queens, elves, and men. He knows that he will never be king before his brothers, but he cares not, for he has dedicated his life to his work, and he knows that he has earned his place in the Mountain o' the Gods. But when the dark elves attack with an army of vicious Draggard, Roakore's like changes forever. With his beloved mountain kingdom teaming with the hell-born devils, Roakore is faced with an impossible decision: Fight to the bitter end and die in a blaze of glory, or retreat, and lead the survivors to the northern mountain kingdom. His king commands him to retreat, but his heart tells him to fight. Can Roakore overcome his pride and salvage what is left of his clan's future, or will he die fighting? Note: This Short Story takes place twenty years before the events of Whill of Agora. It contains material found in the 1st edition of Whill of Agora, available until 2015, along with added material. Ro'Sar lost can be read as a stand alone, or as a Whill of Agora companion, before or after any Legends of Agora story.
