Killing the Dead series by Richard Murray (#18-19 | Season Three #6 & Season Four #1)

Overview: When I was very young, I can vividly recall staring with fascination at the picture on the cover of a book my father was reading. I asked him what the book was about and he looked at me before saying "If you want to know what it's about, then read it." So I did. That was the start of my fascination with books. While friends would be out playing football, I would be inside reading. I had discovered a rich and varied realm of imagination. Since that very first book I have rarely stopped reading for pleasure, yet as I grew older I realised that I wanted to share my own worlds, my own imagined adventures. I wanted to write my own stories. Which brings me to the present and my very first book, hopefully the first of many. I have always preferred Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror and I intend to take a look at these genres and more while I find my feet and learn more of the art of writing and telling a good story. I live in England with my youngest daughter and a vicious beast of a cat that my children lovingly call "Squeak."

Sacrifice (Killing the Dead #18 | Season Three #6)
Ryan and his friends are on their way to London, intending to meet up with Lily's army to make war on Genpact, the architects of the zombie apocalypse. Unknown to him, that army is not going to be waiting. Lily, with a fleet of raiders headed towards her home, has to find a way to stop them before they lay waste to the world she is rebuilding. Both, are up against impossible odds and the only way to win, is to be willing to sacrifice everything.
The Book of Ryan (Killing the Dead #19 | Season Four #1)
The war with Genpact ended with fire and fury, and the survivors are left to recover, while mourning their losses.
Lily, deep in grief, has to continue on as leader of the survivors on the Isle of Man. With the majority of her fighters dead, she relies heavily on the Dead for security. As the years pass by, and the death cult becomes ever more powerful, she has to try and maintain control, unaware of a new horror that is growing in the world.
Ryan, believed to be dead by everyone who cares about him, is trapped in the Genpact bunker deep below the surface, with Gregg and some survivors, he wants nothing more than to return to his family. Unfortunately, new enemies and old, are plotting against him.
