Corporation Wars series by Stephen Arseneault (#1-4,6-7)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.9 MB
Overview: I reside in Central Florida with the wife and two daughters. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight, keeping Man alive. For some of those heroes, it was meant to be their calling. For others... not so much. All however are willing to fight until the end for what they believe in.
Genre: Fiction > Sci-Fi/Fantasy | Science Fiction

1. A Hero
A hostile alien species becomes the scourge of humanity with the invasion of human space. Our military hasn't fought a war in centuries. Politics pervades our failing response. Some will lose everything. Others will surrender everything.
Rayford Tyvos Jackson just wants to provide his family with a decent life. A tough economy forces difficult choices, placing his family in danger. Ray is not one to sit idle. He will do what it takes to see them safe. Safe however, may not be an option.
Hard times are coming with the invasion. Ray will want revenge. Follow along as he fights for what's just and right, even though his associates may have other, more sinister motives.
2. A Rebel
Our hero is becoming disgruntled. The new corporation-run government is turning out to be more like a kingdom, with Aarlis Goodall sitting on the throne, than a government for the people. That prospect doesn't sit well with many. A rebellion is on the rise. Ray Jackson may be forced to fight for the other side.
3. A Traitor
Captured. Will Ray be reprogrammed as a force for The Corporation? Will he be dedicated to crushing the rebellion? Will he be worshiping at Estelle's feet as she claims?
4. A Convict
One thousand years in stasis. The Corporation has cemented its control. Released back into society as a janitor, his memory wiped and his responses subdued. But someone wants to make use of Ray. Will he become a new Ray? Or will he revert to the nasty Ray that got him locked up?
6. A Mercenary
Hired to defend The Corporation? What happened to the liberation of everyone? Oh. Togmal. They seek vengeance for past wrongs. Can Aarlis really be trusted? Find out as Ray tries to build his own nation.
7. A Renegade
This is not the deal that was made. How many times can the Goodalls double-cross everyone they know? Is the liberation of all humanity on the horizon or will the mayhem continue?
