Lee Amaranth is a mystic, not a mage. In fact, he’s never cast a spell in his life. His day to day routine involves communing with unseen supernatural entities and using silver weapons to banish rampaging specters. With his sister missing, however, he has no choice but to go on a search that leads him to the locked gates of Primhaven University, a school forbidden to those untouched by arcane potential.
Luckily, if he plays his cards right, he might just have some help. A cute ghost from another century. A nerdy spellcasting prodigy. A beautiful teacher who sees right through his bullsh*t. It’s up to Lee to decide who to place his trust in as he formulates a plan to fake his way through classes and exams.

Back at Primhaven, Lee returns to the rhythm of life as an initiate mage. With Genevieve Laughton now serving as the school's Interim Lead Instructor, the rules and boundaries he'd grown so accustomed to ignoring are no longer so easily dismissed. The arrival of a new threat on Primhaven's doorstep also leaves Lee and friends contending with the frozen aftermath of one of Shay Morrigan's ancient enemies.

Lee’s time at Primhaven has finally come to an end. With his former friend and lover, Eliza, now a looming threat to the supernatural world, he’s forced to make a deal with the infamous Dealmaker to have any hope at brokering a resolution.
Though, the price may in fact be higher than he’s willing to pay. A new incident puts him undercover and at odds with old friends. It’s up to Lee to navigate the thinning margins of morality, all while coming to terms with a long ignored, fundamental truth. He’s in love with a ghost.
