#1- When the world turns black, they realize that all their preparation means nothing if they can't find each other.
For Secret Service Agent, Blake Chantry, ensuring that his superiors thrive in the face of a national disaster has been his primary objective. Fulfilling his duty pales in the face of adversity when separated from his family by a blazing inferno, exploding vehicles, and the beginning of mob-rule. Blake will stop at nothing to find his wife and son.
Kris Chantry’s husband had prepared her for this day, though she had never believed it would actually happen. When her car stalls and bursts into flames leaving her and her young son fighting through wild fires, road blocks, and the unknown, she digs deep, remembers her training, and does what has to be done for her son to survive.
#4 - Does surviving mean dropping your guard enough to rely on others?
With the arrival of Mercy, things have significantly changed. Learning to adapt with an infant in a post-apocalyptic world takes reliance and teamwork.
When the reality of their new world threatens to take everything away from Blake, his decision propels a huge shift in his way of thinking.
Will he choose to continue his lone wolf stance or take a chance on a community?
#5 - Winter survival without a bunker...
Fleeing a bunker that easily could have been their demise, the Chantrys join up with Arland's New Forest Glen community...for now.
With city marauders finding their way into their mountain home town, the community finds themselves pushed to leave much sooner than expected.
Between group dynamics, treacherous weather conditions, and a myriad of other complications, they will struggle to find the perfect location for New Forest Glen and live off a frozen land until winter releases its death grip on them all.
#6 - Pushed into the wilderness in the dead of winter, one community attempts to survive without destroying themselves.
Grant Us Mercy returns with the Chantrys and their New Forest Glen community struggling for survival. They may have left Meyers and his marauders behinds them, but their challenges have just begun.
Arriving at their new location in the dead of winter without all the stores they had prepared, leaves them in a predicament. Who do they listen to when decisions need to be made?
Record breaking snow storms, rushing frozen rivers, lack of food, and a community at the edge of collapse combine to make Blake wish he had never joined forces with Arland and his camp.
Will New Forest Glen become broken? Maybe Tucker’s vision foretold of a location just for the Chantrys.
