1. Sol Arbiter - "They call us Arbiters. We arbitrate conflict to keep the peace."
In 2853, humanity has established a presence across the solar system. Linked by a network of FTL gateways called Boson Apertures, travel between the 7 colonized worlds and thousands of space colonies takes only hours.
The Sol Federation is the final authority, and the Arbiters travel the system to maintain order.
Arbiters Gabriel Anderson and Tycho Barrett have just been sent to intervene in a growing crisis on Venus. Information is limited, but thy know two things:
Tower 7 has gone completely dark, and security androids are killing civilians.
No one knows what has become of the tower's 520,000 residents or who is responsible for the mysterious assault, but the priority of the mission is clear.
Tycho and Gabriel must breach the tower, investigate the missing civilians, and locate the one responsible... all while trying to stay alive.
2. Intrinsic Immortality - In a world where the human mind can be given a synthetic body, the line between man and machine is blurred.
Despite the authority of the Sol Federation, major corporations hold most of the power. When the head of one such company, Chief Executive Julian Huxley, is killed, his body is left undiscovered for over three years.
Arbiter Tycho Barrett is sent to investigate the executive's death, but what he finds reveals more than he could have imagined.
Now, Tycho must search for an android who was once human, forcing him to question everything around him.
There are secrets here, written in blood and polymer, and they threaten to fundamentally change mankind's place in the universe.
After all, if so much of the body can be replaced by wires and circuitry, what does that say for the human soul?
4. Memetic Drift - In 2854, Section 9 uncovers the location of an illegal technology that could unmask a member of The Eleven, their mysterious enemy. Tycho Barrett is grievously wounded during a mission to seize this technology from aboard a ship docked in a remote settlement on Europa, his life saved with cutting-edge cybernetic augmentation.
Tycho and Section 9 must now race against both time and a revenant from the past to recapture the ship and its cargo before the trail vanishes and The Eleven once again return to the shadows.
5. Nociceptor - In 2854, Section 5 analyst Edward Yeun approaches Tycho Barrett with suspicions of a plot against the life of the Sol Federation Secretary-General. The evidence implicates officials at the highest levels of the North Atlantic States government, potentially igniting an interplanetary war between every world and colony in the Sol system.
Tycho and Section 9 must work to prevent the killing, uncover the assassins, and—if necessary—suppress the truth. Their efforts see the return of a man from Tycho’s past and the true extent of The Eleven’s power is laid bare, signaling the beginning of Section 9’s end.
