She wakes up beaten and bloody in a cheap apartment on the surface, where vampires haven’t lived in at least three hundred years. Her new guard partner Leo might have been trying to save her life—and he might look delicious as hell—but he’s also out of his mortal mind to bring her here. His arrogant roommate, Radoslav, is no better.
She needs to get back underground. This isn’t some fairytale land like back in the twenty-first century. It’s a felony for her to even be up top, and these two men can’t agree on how to smuggle her home. Plus, there’s this whole other problem. November is getting hungry.
