Mission specialist Georgia Pyke arrives at Mars with grand ideas to establish a legacy. Instead, she must face her personal demons and rely on Captain Winter to survive from one day to the next. Has she condemned herself to a lingering death on Mars?
As if Mars isn’t sufficiently inhospitable for the astronauts, one of their own has been holding a grudge for six years. How far is that person prepared to go to exact their revenge?
The mission quickly becomes a matter of life and death for the twelve astronauts. As they struggle to establish a foothold on Mars, something is lurking out of sight. Something that will change them forever.
2. Incursion
Mars – The God of War becomes a battlefield!
Two years after it was built, it’s time for Alpha Base to welcome new guests. No one could have foreseen the arrival of new ships and old friends would bring unexpected and disastrous consequences.
Georgia Pyke soon has suspicions that the new captain is hiding something from her. As she begins to unravel the secrets, she realizes there’s a far bigger game at play. A game she doesn’t want to be part of with the stakes being human survival on Mars.
As further lies are exposed, what would cause a crew to mutiny against their captain and how far will their loyalty to their new leader go?
With time running out, enemies are forced to work together in an uneasy alliance where there can be only one winner. But who is prepared to sacrifice themselves in order to save the planet from outright domination?
