Overview: A sleepless world…a waking nightmare… 90 days ago, the world’s population awoke to discover that they somehow could not sleep naturally. In the chaos that followed, sleeping pills and sedatives became the most valuable commodities on the planet. Those unable to get their hands on any of either were lost to insanity and fatigue. Only the ruthless survived.
Gerardo is one of them. He’s at the head of a brutal crew of survivalists that have managed to stay alive thanks to their firepower and the protection of their armored semi truck, “Gloria.”

Anita is one of the mysterious “Sleepers,” people who are somehow immune to the Great Insomnia. When she sleeps, she dreams of “the Sleeping Place,” somewhere where everyone will be able to sleep again… if they can find it.
