1. The Selection
Angry gods. A ruthless King…and one feisty girl.
In the Kingdom of Ode, where magic has vanished, the gods angry, and the king rules with an iron feast, a feisty 16-year-old girl, finds her life turned upside down when her siblings are selected as a sacrifice to the gods.
She unleashes a power hidden inside her to save them and is thrust into the unknown, where her life and that of an entire people rests on her shoulders.

A kingdom where magic has vanished. A ruthless king. The girl with hidden powers and a quest for the truth.
In all ways, Nuju is a fish out of water in her new environment. She gets along with the Princess and finds herself the center of attraction of the crown prince.
But, when things take an unexpected turn, Nuju must decide where her loyalty lay, with the future king, or the prince that saved her life, if she wants to see another sunrise.
