I woke in an asylum. My life and everything I knew crumbled around me, leaving me wondering how I got here in the first place. They think I'm crazy...maybe I am? I'm still trying to find the missing pieces.
What I do know, is that I have to get out of here. If only I could stop the flashes of memory that can't be real. Sometimes I remember the voices from my dream, other days it's just a vague feeling. Whatever the cost, I will find out the truth, and I will leave this forsaken place.

I thought I was losing my mind but it was all real. Everything in this life is not only beautiful but strange and frightening. I can't help feel relieved knowing I'm alive and near my Lauren again...it's just sometimes it seems too good to be true. I'd be lying if I didn't admit to struggling. There are moments where I feel I'll wake up and still be in that God forsaken asylum. Those are the hard days, not knowing if I'm in the present or stuck somewhere in my mind. All I truly know is if it is a dream, I'm going to live here as long as I can.
