'Choose your class. Raise your weapon. Level up. Save the world.'
Can't watch TV for a second without seeing an ad with some smug guy in a uniform wielding a fancy sword. Getting the chance to be an Omega isn't like any normal job. You level up and you turn into a superhero. How could anybody turn them down?
Monsters are coming from another dimension, threatening the entire world. The LOD managed to turn fighting them off into some video game. I know what the LOD really is. A new age military where people sign-up so they can put their lives on the line. They say nobody ever dies permanently but I know that's not the case.

All I ever wanted was a normal life and that's what I got. It all changed when Jade showed up. Money. Glory. Fame. Women. I didn't need any of that. Just my luck she told me the only thing that could convince to take the LOD seriously.
That's how I ended up here, strapping on some high-tech gear not even Omegas use, and heading on a journey through another dimension. I don't know the first thing about fighting monsters. But beating them is the only way I'll be able to live with myself. I might as well save the world while I'm at it."

"Everybody wants to join the LOD these days. Even with the more dangerous threats making their presence known, kids can't wait to strap on some gear and head to the other world to fight Shadows. If somebody wants to spend their days playing games of war, that's on them. Not that I've got anything against them. Jade. Alisa. They're some of the good ones.
And then there's Dr. Redgrave. Some punk decided to put their hands on the old man. You'd have to be sick in the head to do something like that. I can't let that stand.
Last time, I only wanted to know the truth. This time, I'm out for blood."
After discovering the truth about his father, Enzo Drake returns home to his ordinary life. It's not long though before someone comes calling. But this time, it's not the Legion. With the old professor, Dr. Redgrave, injured in an attack, Enzo goes looking for answers. But he learns the only way he'll get some real answers is by taking up the mantle of the Slayer once again.
