The Reflection series by Jordan T. Lefaivre (#1-2)

Overview: I am Jordan Thomas Lefaivre and I’m a twenty-five-year-old with high-functioning autism. I’m an aspiring young fantasy author, who’s been doing creative writing since age fourteen. I live with my parents in Canada. I’ve been working on a five novel fantasy/adventure/sci-fi series called Reflection for around seven years now. I, being diagnosed with autism since I was three, made sure Phoebe’s autism is realistic and is well-mixed into the whole series. I’m very visual and I’m able to put my ideas into compelling stories.

1. The Uishanole
Phoebe, a thirteen year old girl with autism, struggles trying to fit in with the public, interacting with people, dealing with bullies and handling life overall. However, one night, her troubles get replaced with even far greater problems. She gets kidnapped into a foreign dimension of seven distinct alien races of reptilian-like beings on a planet called Yuetsion within a different universe. The aliens reveal to her that she’s their only hope in saving them from the powerful wicked alien race, the Xeffizens. They believe since she’s the uishanole, a reflection/doppelganger/copy, of a deceased princess of the Veshael race, she has the ability to wield one of the two most powerful magical scepters in Yuetsion, the Vinston Scepter and use it to defeat the Xeffizens, who’s king wields the other most powerful scepter in Yuetsion, the Monston Scepter. The only way Phoebe will be allowed back to her dimension is by fulfilling her captors’ mission with the support of unique outer worldly individuals who team up with her throughout her journey. Will Phoebe succeed in surviving through the countless perils and defeat the all-powerful Xeffizen race in order for her to be reunited with her family? Will her autism weigh her down or be to her advantage for her quest?
2. The Vinston Scepter
After her troublesome life situations back on planet Earth, Phoebe, a thirteen year old girl with autism, has recently been dragged into a devastating task. She got kidnapped into a foreign dimension of seven distinct alien races of reptilian-like beings named yuets on a planet called Yuetsion, within a different universe in a foreign dimension. The yuets believe since she’s the uishanole, a reflection/doppelganger/copy, of a dead princess from the Veshael race, that Phoebe has the ability to wield one of the two most powerful magical scepters in Yuetsion, the Vinston Scepter and use it to put an end to the reign of the wicked Xeffizens. Their king wields the other most powerful scepter in Yuetsion, the Monston Scepter. Due to her being the only possible wielder of the Vinston Scepter, the yuets forced her into an operation of using the Vinston Scepter to destroy the Monston Scepter to take down the Xeffizens. They refuse to let her return to her home world until her quest is fulfilled. Unfortunately, shortly after she was brought into their world, the Xeffizens recently discovered her whereabouts and now the Xeffizens and other new enemies are targeting her wherever she travels to, as she ventures across Yuetsion’s countries to the distant location where the Veshaels have hidden the Vinston Scepter away from their enemies. Will Phoebe and the yuets, who volunteered to protect her, survive making it to the Vinston Scepter to complete her mission’s first phase or will any of her countless enemies do her in? Will her autism cause her to fall to her doom or will it save her and help keep her alive until the very end of her mission?
