A Timeless Journey by Lewis Jeffries (The Deathraii #1)

Overview: Rory Murgatroyd has travelled to Dartmoor National Park for some rest and recuperation. It’s a 2 day break that promises a welcome respite from the daily grind; a chance to escape the office and the city, to unwind amongst mother nature.
But upon climbing the steep rocks on Hay Tor, he vanishes into the distant past, where the first person he meets is a widow named Ardith. She is Rory’s only chance of safety and survival, and despite their unsavoury introduction, a relationship flourishes and Rory is torn between his two lives, in two very different time eras.
Unfortunately for Rory, Ardith’s existence is during Britain’s darkest and bleakest history, where Druids run havoc and locals worship Pagan Gods. The island is uncivilised, ruthless and lawless, and is plagued by warring tribes and Saxon intruders. It is a violent world and one that he doesn’t understand, but he must somehow negotiate the perilous dangers and work out a way to prevent an even greater threat; the impending invasion of the Deathraii race.
