In desperate straits, Knox goes against his lone gunman nature to ally himself with Kana, a tiny but fierce warrior Mythicon, and Malthus, a monstrous slice of hell whose affinity for crafting demonic weapons comes in real handy in dicey situations—if you can get past the stench of sulfur.
Armed with a sharp tongue, kooky cohorts, and a weapon straight out of the pages of a space opera, Knox follows a trail of bloody bread crumbs. Alexander’s ability to gather cronies and anticipate Knox‘s every move, however, proves borderline paranormal, presenting the grizzled Iconocop with the fight of his life. And yet . . . Alexander’s rise to power also provides Knox the opportunity to break out of his lonely bachelorhood and embrace peace with family and friends (though irritating and occasionally terrifying they may be).
