Overview: P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs.

Albert is many things. Lazy, feckless and very, very drunk. Living in the lunar colony of Second City, a dreamlike place of science and magic, things are pretty easy for a part time night club worker. He sweeps the floors, cleans up occasionally and gets his drugs for free. No one wants for anything. Except a reason to keep going. When a strange man begs for his help, Albert led into a discovery that no one would have ever thought possible. He certainly wouldn’t have, at any rate. A reason for being alive. Fraught with danger, excitement and a fairly active desire to curl up with a nice bottle in a dark room, his new life leads him to being something that he never would have dreamed possible. A good person. Possibly, a great one. If he can stay alive long enough to make that happen.

When slavers from space came, Albert felt helpless. A single man, unimportant and frankly, more than a bit drunk couldn’t save much of anyone. Now things have changed. A new job with some very important people, powers granted by one of the greatest wizards to have ever lived and a sense of urgency that he’d never had before.
The kidnappers have made a mistake, after all, because Albert Benoist isn’t just a man any more. He’s an Ancient. More than that, he’s the one designated to protect his people.
The error was not understanding that everyone is his person now.
All of them.
Even the ones that come from the void itself.
He will protect them.
Even if it costs him everything.
