WITH THE DESTRUCTION of the makra energy plant in the north and a chance meeting of strange new foes, Tsuske and his team bring back the sole survivor of a dead race. Instead of being treated as heroes, the team of highly skilled assassins are given a new assignment.
THEY FACE MANY DIFFICULTIES as Director Voren teeters on the brink of death, leaving Tsuske completely in charge of his squad and over the entirety of COBRA. A pending death order hanging over their heads. Leaving the director to face the reaper isn't the only thing that is on his mind. A new awareness is growing inside of him and Tsuske feels no peace of mind as he leaves the survivor in the hands of the Gestahlian scientists.
WHILE INVESTIGATING CLUES TO THE DISTURBANCES new findings are found and uncomfortable discoveries are made. Feelings of the past rise up and impede judgement just as a teammate goes missing. Tsuske is put to the test as COBRA Second in command. The consequences for failure don’t mean his death alone, but the death of his team and the odds stacked against them are incalculable.
