1. King Tides Curse
A thousand years ago, King Canute drew a line in the sand, turned back the World Flood, slammed closed the Flood Gates, and saved humanity from the Deep realm. Canute left behind the Knights of Noble Metal, to keep humanity safe. Canute, however, did not plan a good recruitment strategy. Volunteers are now needed.
Gale Knott is an eighteen-year-old go-getter, building his resume for medical school. Gale is ripped from a great surf at Bondi and recruited into the ranks of the fracturesmiths. Gale is tasked with travelling the realms, carrying on Canute’s work, fixing the breaks in reality. Given a hammer, some nails, a pager that won’t stop beeping, and a dog eared textbook, he is told to crack on with it.
Yet his shift is not an easy one. Under stress, his family heritage begins to wake, the curse of Deep magic. Gale is tempted by the power to command the oceans, to become a Trench-walker. Tides stir in the Deep, an ocean abyss filled with monsters. The Rust Knight hunts him, looking for the keys to the nine Flood Gates. Gale’s parents, long ago vanished, seem to be shaping his future from the past. Never mind just passing his exams.
His allies? A siren who gets him into more trouble than its worth. A meat-pie connoisseur, armoured in trackies, thongs and a flannie. A battle-maiden who insists that activewear is combat-ready, and a professor who just wanted to flog his new textbook. They are not the Knights of Noble Metal. But maybe...just maybe... they can stop the King Tides Curse.
2. Fair Dinkum Dungeon Diving
A town under the grip of a corrupt Sheriff.
A dungeon that must be dived.
An old flame from Keat’s past.
A wombat...in dire need of more roughage.
The Broken Hill Dungeon, the first Nine Pillar Dungeon, stands in the way of Keat paying rent for the month. Fresh from Blake's betrayal, can Keat rally the Gap Year Six? Can he lead his best mate Nugget, Mel (who he is kinda, sorta dating), Abby King, and a British backpacker obsessed with Aussie pub-rock through the murky depths of their first Dungeon?
Even as Keat faces the Broken Hill Dungeon, Morgan Canciani walks back into Keat’s life. She needs a team of adventurers to save her sister from the Sheriff of Cairns. In the tropical city of Cairns, Sheriff Pyne rules with an iron fist and his monstrous ability, 'microtransaction.' Meanwhile, the people of Cairns hide behind the walls from demons that stalk the night.
Armed with his trusty BBQ fork, a giant wombat with significant digestive problems, and a team of the scrappiest Aussies in the apocalypse, can Keat save not one, but two towns? Can he manage a dungeon dive, with both his new girlfriend and his ex? What is the truth behind the Mana Apocalypse?
Only one thing is certain. It's time for some fair dinkum, dungeon diving.
