Azophi Academy series by TR Cameron (#1-2,4)

Overview: I'm TR Cameron, Urban Fantasy and Science Fiction author. I've been an avid consumer of the genres since I was six, I think, when I broke the seal on my Dad's copies of the Asimov Foundation books. Shortly after, it was Dragonlance and Drizzt. It's been all downhill since then.

Jackson Reese, Special Forces Captain in the UCCA, deals with alien invasions on a daily basis. He’s at the top of his game. Not even an artificial leg is holding him back. Or so he thought. His superior sees more in him and is sending him to a place that will change his life. Welcome to Azophi Academy. A different kind of second chance. Jackson learns fast - The Professor believes in active participation – or die trying. Can Jackson cope with Cia, his new partner and pilot? She’s unlike him in every way and enjoys making sure he knows it. He’ll have to learn a lot and fast if he’s going to survive the Azophi experience.

Aliens, Robots, and Enemy Humans all want Jackson Reese dead. They won’t see him coming. Jax and his team from Azophi Academy will need to TRUST each other on their next mission. They’re on the hunt for a new enemy AI. But will a new recruit pull their team apart? To succeed, each member will have to be part soldier, part spy, and all improvisation. Jax has advanced prosthetics that give him an edge, but it’ll still take the team to pull this off. One wrong move could endanger the Academy, the Special Forces, his government. Will his new adventure cost him his life? If they fail, their enemies could gain the advantage and threaten the Academy and the UCCA.
4. Truth
It’s time for Jax’s enemies to pay their debts. They’ve tried to kill him. They’ve tried to kill his friends. Zavion Arlox has set traps on top of traps. Turning the tables will require every bit of experience Jax possesses, plus a lot of luck. The Academy, the Cronus and Jax’s friends are all in danger. The wrong move will spell disaster. Jax knows what to do. Bring the UCCA Special Forces Team and the Academy together to take the traitors down once and for all. If he fails, the universe’s most sophisticated artificial intelligence will be in the hands of its worst people. The time has come to put all that the Academy has taught him into action. It’s the only chance for success, the only chance for survival.
