Overview: My mom and Stephen King. Growing up, my mom was always reading, and she’s a big fan of Stephen King and had every one of his books. I always wondered why she was such a huge fan and at a certain age she let me go through her collection and I devoured his whole bibliography. I liked reading before that but after reading so much of his work I knew I wanted to be an author, and that’s all I’ve wanted ever since.

1. The Daughters of Despair - When Princess Ruby of Spinal is kidnapped, rumors about her abduction spread like wildfire around the kingdom. As an investigation mounts, eyewitness accounts from a variety of sources and points of view, including Princess Ruby's, soon reveal there are far more questions than answers.
Is it the work of the cultist group the A Capella? Does it have something to do with the upcoming hundredth anniversary of the Storm of the Screaming Skies? Could the mythical Daughters of Despair—the female bastards of kings who do the dirty work of the kingdom—be real, and if so, what would they want with the princess? Or was it an act of war—a coup launched by one of the non-reigning Families of the kingdom to regain the Crown?
Before long, a plan is hatched for Prince Stoic of Anima to rescue Princess Ruby in exchange for her hand in marriage. But in a world where science fiction and fantasy meet fairy tale, traditional gambits don't always win the game, and sometimes a princess can only rely on herself.

The Final Feast - Now the undisputed Mother of the Daughters of Despair, Princess Ruby has turned her back on her royal lineage and tasked the Daughters with a new mission—to take down the Families and start over. Start fresh. Start fair. Speculating that the Families' ability to stay in power is connected to a substance called honey they consume each year at the annual feast held in the Coeur City castle, Ruby and the Daughters set out to find answers.
But as the one-hundredth anniversary of the Storm of the Screaming Skies and the feast both draw nearer, eyewitness accounts from across the kingdom report of strange happenings—stories of mysterious weapons that can reprogram the Librarians, corrupted beasts with neon in their blood, and baffling disappearances.
As the Daughters form an unlikely alliance with Princess Ruby's search party and a tough young orphan to create a gambit of their own to bring down the old guard, the kingdom will never be the same again.
