Overview: Stu Venable was born in Long Beach, California and holds a degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. He's been a fan of fantasy and science fiction since reading The Hobbit during the summer between grammar school and middle school. He is the father to two children and has two dogs. Since 1978, Stu has been involved in the table-top RPG hobby, starting with Dungeons & Dragons, then Traveller and eventually GURPS. He's published one RPG system, called Moment of Truth.

1. Mandeight and the Apprentice Mage
Mandeight was once a promising student mage in the Sovereign Duchy of Eldemy, but his exuberance to learn marked him as a potential dark mage. He now lives in exile on an island paradise. After discovering a dangerous necromancer visited his home centuries before, he must return to the one place his is not welcome.
2. Mandeight the Patented Mage
When Mandeight set sail for the City of Eldemy, he was expecting to complete his magical trials and take his place among the respected mages of the Duchy, but others had a different kind of trial in mind. On his last voyage to the city, Mandeight was involved in the death of a very powerful battlemage and vizier to the Duke of Eldemy, but he was able to keep his involvement in that affair a secret. Now that secret is out, and his former apprentice is about to pay the ultimate price. With Kidal, a former pirate turned ship's captain and Dail, a mysterious assassin who knows a little too much about magic, Mandeight attempts to rescue his wayward apprentice and hopefully save his own neck from the hangman's noose in the process. Along the way, he discovers that a powerful and mysterious necromancer has secretly set up shop in a long-forgotten ruined city.
3. Mandeight and the Collegium Magicul
Mandeight’s plate is full, to say the least. He’s halfway through his year of servitude, a sentence for his past crimes. In his spare time, he is training to become a necromancer hunter, but in the dark of night, he’s experimenting with the very magic he has sworn to eradicate. To top it all off, he’s saddled with a magical pact to an infernal being that’s proving to be more reality than myth. Meanwhile, political tensions are rising in the Duchy of Eldemy. The library of the ancient archmage Codwoor, which Mandeight discovered in the dead city of Amana, is proving to be a temptation few can resist.
