1. Safeguard - Her best friend is on death’s door, and respite lures a dangerous predicament.
Life after the Valkyrie Academy is interesting, to say the least. Kara’s new role as Thor’s dragon rider lacks the battles she expected, yet keeping up with the loveable brute is entertaining in ways she least imagined. The urge for purpose is satisfied when Loki’s estranged children learn of his duress and work to shatter Asgard’s peace.
Monsters wreak havoc from several realms. The only chance of defeating them lies in a concocted effort between dragons, gods, and Valkyries. Kara’s participation veers as she races to find a means to save a friend.

2. Pursuit - Beware of the company kept. All may not be as it seems.
The threat from Loki's monstrous children remains, as Odin had predicted. With the trickster father at large, only one path remains—the mother must be sweetened. Perhaps a little chat with a frost giantess will go smoothly, and she will happily control her children, right?
Desperate to delay the onset of Ragnarok, Kara must enter Jotunheim and face the danger of the frost giants to seek Angrboda’s help. The outcome could go either way, considering the giantess dislikes all Asgardian gods except for her beloved Loki.

3. Entrapment - Protecting friends is deadly.
It's happened. Hel has sent her minion to attack Asgard, or so Kara thought. She and Elan are entrapped and dragged into the depths of Muspelheim, the land of the fire giants, bringing a whole new meaning to “warm welcome.”
In an attempt to retrieve the information Kara holds, creatures that live only in nightmares surface, threatening Kara's freedom and life.

4. Hoodwinked - Hunted, banished and desperate to rectify her errors.
The pressure is real. Capture the wheezily god, Loki, and his children will unleash their vengeance. Leave him free, and he will weave his deception with dire consequences. Add banishment to the mix, and the only way to rectify it is to repossess Loki. It’s an offer Kara must accept.
Unable to return to Asgard, Kara is sent to the peaceful realm Alfheim to enhance her light magic. As it turns out, trouble seems to find her, colliding her path with dubious characters, smashing her judgement of the correct beings to trust.
The race is on to enhance her magic and capture Loki before he deceives her again. If she doesn’t, she will be exiled forever.

5. Relinquished - A bargain struck. A sacrifice made, and the price is high.
Loki’s hound son grows stronger and his temper, shorter, igniting fear in the gods of Asgard. They must restrain him before he becomes too strong to handle and brings Ragnarok upon them.
Desperate for a tougher restraint, Kara and Thor, accompanied by her trusty dragon and friends, travel to the realm of Svartalfheim, seeking the dwarves’ expertise.
They soon learn that they will gain nothing without sacrifice.

6. Shrouded - A dishonorable death, hunted by criminals, and souls severed.
Asgard mourns a beloved god who should spend his afterlife in Valhalla but dies out of battle, trapping him in Helheim. Following orders from Odin and his wife, Frigg, Thor takes Kara and the combined Valkyrie and dragon entourage to the underworld in hopes of attaining his release.
Impossible demands must be fulfilled, and the threats the group face require the skills of every companion.
Will a soul be lost to save a soul?

7. Assigned - An impossible task, a magic fiddler, and a trickster's interference.
Sent to Vanaheim to collect tears of grief, Kara is ordered by Odin to retrieve the goddess of youth and longevity. The goddess vanishes, muddying the additional task.
As if the mission wasn’t enough, Kara must overcome the spell of the alluring music or face a watery grave.

8. Accosted - Three deadly children, one mischievous god, and Asgard to save.
The time has come to face Hel. Despite their productive efforts to fill the goddess of Helheim’s demands, Kara and her companions have come up short. Still, Odin demands they retrieve Balder at any cost. A peaceful solution is uncovered, if only the quick-to-wrath goddess will accept their offer.
The Midgard serpent is loose on the realms, leaving Thor and the Valkyries unsure where he will turn up next. He leaves destruction in his wake as he searches for Asgard.
On top of dealing with Jormungandr and Hel, Fenrir’s tether thins, and the hound is ready to unleash his wrath on Odin. Angering all three siblings at once has been predicted to start Ragnarok.

9. Destruction - Hideous darkness dampens Asgard as the predicted doom looms.
The World Tree is meant to be the bringer of life to the Norse realms, yet the access from the other worlds may be Asgard’s undoing. The hideous monsters from the under realms climb through the trunk’s opening, bearing Hel’s wrath. Asgard, its occupants, and many of the other realms are in significant danger from the monsters, combined with the threat of the Midgard serpent and Fenrir.
As their friends place their lives at risk, Kara and Elan work to gather more fighters before putting themselves in war’s peril. Will their efforts save Asgard and their friends, or is it too late?
