Overview: Scott M. Baker was born and raised in Everett, Massachusetts and spent twenty-three years in northern Virginia working for the Central Intelligence Agency. Scott is now retired and lives outside of Concord, New Hampshire as a full-time writer along with his wife and fellow author Alison Beightol and his stepdaughter. He has written Yeitso, his homage to the giant monster movies of the 1950s that he loved watching as a kid; Rotter World, Rotter Nation, and Rotter Apocalypse, his post-apocalyptic zombie trilogy; The Vampire Hunters trilogy, about humans fighting the undead in Washington D.C.; as well as the novellas Nazi Ghouls from Space (the title says it all) and Dead Water (about a zombie outbreak aboard an oil rig at sea). He is currently working on a series of young adult post-apocalyptic novels, a horror techno-thriller, and a second series about Allied intelligence officers fighting Nazi occultism in World War II.

You can't predict the future, especially during the zombie apocalypse. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Alissa tries to focus on the survival of the group while dealing with her own issues. Part of her heart belongs to Nathan but she also has an attraction to Chris. The emotional turmoil is increased when her cat, Archer, goes missing and the last normal part of Alissa’s life is gone.
Yet none of this compares to the impending threat – a horde of cognizant zombies organized to hunt the living and which is bearing down on Alissa’s group.
Who will live? Who will die? Are there things more horrible than death?

Nathan has been bitten by a deader. Nothing is worse than watching someone you care about teeter between life and death.
When Alissa sees an opportunity to save Nathan, she is willing to take it. However, to do so will put her and members of her group in more danger than they have faced since the first days of the outbreak.
Her choice is to risk everything to save one man or lose him forever to the ranks of the living dead.
