But even as he works to undermine the dragons and their followers, he has a more personal mission. Three of his friends, including ex-girlfriend Kelly, are missing, possibly taken in the shocking return of the rebel dragon Onyx.
Faced with the return of another evil force, Beryl assembles a new team to fight back. A desperate search for his lost friends leads to the depths of a terrible prison and the heights of a mysterious tower. Somewhere, somehow, he has to find them.
Because for Kelly at least… time is running out.
