Tolara: A New Life by C.W. Dykes (Crew W. Dykes)

Overview: Everyone deserves a second chance at life. Dan dies while cleaning his house from a heart attack. He is offered a new life on a new planet. He has hundreds of planets to choose from. He doesn’t have to do this; he could relax and chill out for eternity if he chooses. But he finds that there are planets that have magic! He could cast fireballs, ride on epic beasts, and clear dungeons for loot!
Instead of sitting on the sidelines for eternity, he decides to go to a planet full of magic and see if it is like the games he played while alive. He had played a mage, a warlock, and a paladin in the many different MMORPG’s that were available when he lived. Now he could be one of those for real. And besides, being dead was not that bad.
Dan selected the planet “Tolara” and then started to train for this new world. The planet was just starting into the Middle Ages, so think knights and armor on horseback. Castles and walled towns, horse and carts, and such. But then mages who could cast portals and fireballs. This will be an adventure for sure. Dan needed to learn a lot before he left for his new planet. He studied Bushcraft, skinning, cooking, how to use a sword, and all the weapons of that age.
Then it was time to go to this new planet of magic; Dan had trained for six months and was as ready as he will ever be.
