#0.5 - Bard

Fionn is the youngest of seven sons and knows his destiny is to be a bard. But his older brothers think he's wasting his time and want him to start contributing to the household. When the woman he's secretly in love with is promised to his oldest brother, he realises he needs a stable income if he's to convince her to marry him before it's too late.

Agata wants a life of travel and adventure, but her father's decided it's time she settles down. He says she must be married by the end of the summer. If she can find a husband in that time, she can marry him. Otherwise, she must marry the man her father has chosen.

Sent to Silver Downs for the summer to get to know the brothers she must choose between, Agata is caught in the middle of a jealous feud between the oldest and youngest. But when Fionn carelessly uses the power he never really believed in, he changes all of their lives forever...

#2 - Fey
When a bard tells a tale about a soldier's death, he doesn't intend to kill his brother. But he didn't believe those who warned him he had the ability to bring his tales to life.

Grainne recognizes the power in the bard's tale. Desperate to protect his target — her new husband, Caedmon — she makes a pact with one of the fey. Caedmon is whisked away to the realm of the fey and Grainne fears she will never see him again.

But Grainne isn't the only inhabitant of Silver Downs with a secret. Eithne has fallen in love with a fey. When the fey boy stops coming to visit her, she knows something has happened to him.

The two women set off in search of their missing loved ones, only to discover that mortals aren't exactly welcome in the realm of the fey. Captured by hostile fey, they are sentenced to serve as slaves — for one hundred years.

Eithne and Grainne need to escape, find their missing loved ones, and get back to the mortal world before the fey find them again. Because they know they won't escape a second time.

#3 - Druid
Arlen's twin sister was stolen by the fey moments after her birth. When he is sent to advise the king, his plan to search for his missing sister must be put on hold — until he realises that she might be the key to bringing peace to the kingdom.

Agata doesn't know she's part mortal. Raised by the queen of the fey, she despises mortals just as much as Titania does. When Agata accidentally encounters the twin she was separated from at birth, she discovers that everything she thought she knew about herself is a lie.

Arlen wants to rescue his sister and bring her home. Agata isn't sure she wants to be rescued. To restore peace to the kingdom and retrieve Agata from the fey, Arlen must forge an alliance with the Old Ones who have been in hiding for thousands of years.

The balance between mortal and fey is finally broken and one race will be banished in an epic showdown between the children of Silver Downs and the fey.
