But not all is as straight forward as it may seem. There are those close to John who are more than they're letting on and that spells trouble for our reluctant hero, big trouble.
2. Town Lore - This Valentine’s Day, give that Special Someone something to remember.
Because nothing says, “I love you” more than a double hit of snuf.
John Hunter isn't bad at this whole monster hunting thing. Along with Shannon and Evan, he's even formed his own company, Hunters for Hire.
But events will soon turn deadly as Hunters for Hire is contracted to solve a case so twisted and mysterious, it'll make every conspiracy theory you've heard of sound like just another episode of Golden Girls.
On top of that, a rival monster-hunting faction is about to make their debut and these guys are real tools. Will they take up all the best-paying jobs leaving John to go back to Top Ramen and pickles?
3. All Valley Tournament - When creatures go bump in the night,
He bumps back.
(But in the sort of respect-your-space, you're-a-person-too, you-do-you way.)
Every day, new possibilities of this shadow world emerge; wonderous, unexpected, and, honestly, a bit horrifying.
Secrets abound as more factions choose sides in a war to come. The Fallen are using the Chosen to do their will and release the Ancient Ones.
It all kind of makes him miss the chicken costume.
When a mysterious invitation reaches Jonny's door in the form of a cryptex the plot thickens.
A supernatural tournament hosted by the family Grimm is about to take place and the prize this year could swing the balance of power from heaven to hell.
With the help from his team of a gangster pixie, Victoria Frankenstein and whatever Teri is, he'll have to go all-in to win and stop hell on Earth.
4. Godmothered - Professor John Hunter?
What, like it’s hard?
The All Valley Supernatural Tournament is ancient history.
Still, all is not well.
Now that the dust has settled, the Chosen are on the verge of unleashing hell on Earth and John Hunter still has no idea what he is. Unlucky for Jonny and his new allies, the family Grimm has a solution.
Another hybrid exists. And they teach at the Godmother Academy.
Wait, there’s a school for that?
This incognito professor may be able to shed some light on Jonny’s “situation.” With Jonny posing as a substitute teacher to get close, an age-old mystery surrounding the school is uncovered and everything is brought into question.
Ragnorak awaits! The board is set and hope has one last chance.

A line has been drawn in the sand and their response? Send me.
The world needs defenders of the light. Spurred on by Gabriel's words Jonny and the Hunters for Hire crew are going to train hunters by the dozens.
Huldra has gone back into hiding but a new enemy is about to emerge, an enemy that may cause new alliances to be forged between the most unlikely of parties.
Oh and an old friend isn't as dead as we might have thought. *Hint, hint, wink, wink.*
