The United States is gripped by a deadly epidemic… Obsidian, a new street drug melting people’s mind and turning them into Umbra zombies. Lucky for them, Stacey Trampler is now a Hunter of the North. It’s been two years since Stacey and Fenton’s deadly battle with the Shadow Man, but she’s got a new enemy to contend with after having lost so much, and so many people: PTSD. Fanta her trusty German shepherd sidekick and her best friend Charlie are by her side, luckily, or she would have lost it long ago. But when people start turning into killer monsters, her anxiety attacks and flashbacks get that much worse. Throw alien drug dealers and nightmares that she’s not sure aren’t visions into the mix, and Stacey’s already stretched nerves are ready to break. And Stacey might just break with them, if she can stay alive long enough.
