Finding the solution embroils them in a world war, and before long, they learn that a previously unknown Axis leader possesses the secret they need to get home.
Meanwhile, the Collective is on the run with nowhere to turn after the Malor destroy their complex in Fiji, counting on the success of their erstwhile enemies' desperate mission to save the planet.
9. Enki - Back in their home universe and reunited with the rest of the Collective, Malia and Jaden must find a way to defeat the Malor. But the Malor have suspended their usual operations to search for a hidden weapon that will make them more powerful than ever. 10. In Search of the Makers - With the Malor sidelined for now, Malia, Jaden, and the rest of Collective must face an even greater threat: the Anunnaki. Freed from their prison, they're feeding on helpless victims to satiate the hunger of an age. And on top of that, the Collective discovers a parasitic organism growing on people's brainstems in the cities decimated by the Malor. Realizing they're no match for their new foes, Malia and Jaden seek the aid of a potential ally who went into hiding long ago--and ultimately go on a search for the mythical Founders, who may be the only beings in the galaxy capable of overpowering the Anunnaki.
