Not quite an angel but no longer human, Dean was unwillingly thrust into the prophetic pinnacle of a timeless battle raging in the shadows of the Earth and the Heavens in which he and his newfound gang of arcane sidekicks might be the only thing standing between mankind and an incursion of otherworldly giants. Semi-divine super soldiers, supersized bad guys on high protein diets, a Heavenly grudge match played out on an Earthly stage – Just another day at the office apparently.
4. Dawn of the After Days - It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an angel.
Dean Robinson, Seventh Deacon of the Seventh line, found God. Literally. He was sitting in the basement reading a newspaper. It was awkward.
And with the big guy’s help, Dean and his wise cracking crew of supernatural sidekicks somehow managed to snuff out Lucifer’s misguided angel mutiny before it unleased a giant sized can of whoop ass on mankind. Cool.
But, as fate would have it, God then decided he was mad. So he summarily deported all the angels to Earth and decreed they would learn to coexist with humans, Nephilim, and all things in between. Or die trying. Not cool.
With the world on the cusp of an angel incursion as a power hungry delegation of eclectic uber beings sort out the new world order, Dean, Doc Kelly, and the crew race through time and space to find the only thing that can save the planet from literally falling apart at the seams. Oh, that’s right. The planet was literally falling apart at the seams too. Total bummer.
5. Ride of the Horseman - Never look a gift Horseman of the Apocalypse in the mouth.
Dean Robinson and Erin Kelly saved the world from certain apocalyptic demise. Well, kinda sorta. At least the planet wasn’t ripping itself apart at the seams anymore. That was nice.
As mankind warmed up to the fact that they were now global neighbors with angels, giants, and unnatural half-bred beasties, things kind of got back to normal. In a mildly dystopian sort of way, that is.
And just when you thought that everything might work out for the best, the pesky ole Horsemen of the Apocalypse show up in downtown Boston and throw everybody into a tizzy again. Actually, it was only one Horseman of the Apocalypse that showed up. But it was the Horseman of War so that whole tizzy comment still stands.
Guess Dean and Erin are taking a rain check on date night. Again.
