Overview: I have been building the world featured in the Dead Flash series for years in my mind, along with several others. I chose to share this story first because it is special to my heart. I used to share details of this world with my dad and could see how much he enjoyed listening to the details I shared. I promised him when he was diagnosed with Lukemia, he made me promise that I would write the books and release them to the world. Almost three years ago, my father passed away. I had still not kept my promise and decided I couldn't put it off any longer. Currently, the Dead Flash Series is set to be five books and I look forward to sharing this story with you all as I keep my promise to my dad.

Alone (Book 1)
Emily was just beginning to find her inner strength when a bright flash spread across the night sky. In that moment, her life was changed forever. The dead now walked instead of lying in their graves and she found herself alone in this strange world. Her dog, Marley, is the only companion she has to face the dead and the living. Emily searches for not only her family but a safe place to call home.
Rebuilding (Book 2)
Emily and Marley are back and learning to survive and navigate the new challenges that face them in Sanctuary. Emily is struggling with both her past and the growing number of people in Sanctuary. Hope is now growing fast than seems possible, and Emily is struggling to be a working mom. Emily and Marley adjust to the new family forming inside the walls and dealing with outside living and dead threats. Can Emily find a way to survive this new life and not lose who she is in the process?
Darkness (Book 3)
Sanctuary continues to grow, as do the dangers inside and out. Emily's confidence continues to grow in her ability to lead Sanctuary and her relationships. Hope is growing fast, causing Emily both joy and sadness. Life in the new world is still not simple. Emily must face new challenges to protect everything she has built. She must sacrifice and discover new parts of herself to protect her family.
