1. In this high-stakes adventure inspired by Homer’s epic The Odyssey, Kress must battle gangsters, gunmen, giants, and ghosts, and will literally go through hell, to get back to the man she loves.

Banished - Accompanied by Render, her long-time raven companion, Kress joins Brohn as they set out to track down the five members of the Fallen that Kress had to leave behind on her last adventure. Along the way, the heroic team finds themselves drawn into the plight of the Unsettled, now an oppressed underclass being targeted for extermination by the Cult of the Devoted.
Plagued by internal divisions, some of the Unsettled want to negotiate with the Devoted, while others are planning something much more dramatic.
Caught in the middle, Kress and Brohn have a decision to make. The side they pick and the path they choose could save—or else end—the lives of millions.
3. Crusade - Accompanied by Méridienne and her younger brother Corbin, Kress and Brohn undertake a whirlwind crusade through the Dordogne Region in the southwest of France. Navigating their way along a winding river and through the Medieval "Valley of the Five Castles," they rush to track down the fabled First Feather from a mythological raven that supposedly contains the techno-genetic code that makes Emergents possible.
Unfortunately, Kress and Company aren't the only ones searching for this mysterious feather. As it turns out, Epic and his gang of deadly Hypnagogics have a head start. And to make matters worse, half of the people in what's left of the world are willing to kill anyone in their way to get to it first.
