Overview: My name is Brett - a.k.a. KamikazePotato - and I've been a massive fan of fantasy stories since the first time I first picked up a book. Over the years, I've devoured well over 100 fantasy novels, dozens of fantasy video games, plenty of fantasy TV shows and movies...you get the idea.
Naturally, this made me want to create a fantasy world of my own. Around the time I decided to sit down and write a story I would actually share with everyone, I also got into the LitRPG genre, and here we are.
I plan to write plenty more stories in this genre, and to spread my wings out to other genres as well! Writing is a joy, and so is getting to see people enjoy what I've created.

2. Shared Insanity - A chain, a portal, and darkness. That was all it took for Rob's life to go from the mundanities of college to being forced to survive in a hostile fantasy world full of horribly mutated creatures. Despite discovering civilization and making allies, his newfound home was sadly short-lived, leaving the survivors to pick up the pieces and make for greener pastures. Having won the respect of the locals via a heroic almost-sacrifice, Rob travels with them, recognizing the importance of having people around to watch your back.
After all, if he's learned one thing since arriving to this strange new world inhabited by monstrosities and ruled by levels, stats, progression, and bizarre video game logic, it's that death is lurking around every corner.
A botched meeting with the Elven ruler's soldiers leads to thousands of people, Rob included, fleeing to the northern wastelands. Ambushes from monsters and men are the least of his worries – dealing with the system's assaults on his mind and the occasional eldritch abomination are far worse. As Rob slowly loses himself, fighting to stay as a person his loved ones back on Earth would recognize, he realizes that surviving just for the sake of seeing the next day isn't going to be enough to keep him sane. He and his friends will need to band together and learn to support each other both physically and mentally.
By all rights, they'll perish. They're the underdogs, and history isn't kind to those. Every inspiring legend of success is built on the graves of a thousand defeats. Society, the system, and the very world itself are against them – in the face of odds like that, what can they possibly do?
Simple: survive.
3. Rising Insanity - Against all odds, Rob and the Deserters have survived their second encounter with the eldritch abomination known as the Blight – only for Rob to make first contact with the gods of Elatra in a very...aggressive way. His enemies keep on piling up, and things are looking to get even tougher from here on out. If Rob and his friends want to survive their upcoming trials, they'll need to gain Levels, make new allies, and travel to the ends of the world and back again. Along the way, they'll discover some of the secrets behind Elatra's history, shaking their preconceptions of the world to its very core.
But what else is new? Rob has known for a long time that nothing was going to be easy. He's lost count of how many times he's almost died since being dragged through a portal against his will. Whether he's up against monsters, gods, or creatures beyond comprehension, Rob is determined to overcome any obstacle in his path. He'll protect his friends, find a way home, and above all, survive.
There's no other choice.
5. Warring Insanity - The shadow of war looms over Elatra.
Rob and Riardin's Rangers have returned triumphant after assisting Dwarven territory and Merfolk territory. They endured Blights, betrayals, and bombs, barely managing to prevail over the many trials that assailed them. An alliance has been brokered between nations, and for the first time, the Blight seems like it's on the ropes.
Unfortunately, there's never rest for the weary. It isn't long before they hear news of a brewing war between the Harpies and Dragonkin. Confused and concerned, the newly-formed allied coalition heads down to find out what's going on – only to become embroiled in a dark conspiracy that threatens to shake Elatra to its core.
As Corruption rises in Harpy territory, Rob finds himself surrounded by enemies on all sides. With two Leaders, the Blight, and the gods all setting their sights on him, the stakes have never been higher. He has no choice but to fight onwards, motivating himself with the knowledge that peace lies at the end of this long, bloody road.
If he can hold onto his sanity, that is.
