1. Shadow Curse - Death’s pissed I had to reschedule, hauntings are up all across the city, and worst of all… I’m late for class.
Jake Rogers, full-time grad student and haunted artifact collector in my spare time. That’s right, I’m a collector--even when that means collecting artifacts someone else currently owns.
I used to be a Sentinel, but after what happened to my brother, I just don’t have it in me anymore to monitor all the paranormal beings of the Underworld. From here on out, Jake Rogers will be looking out for Jake Rogers.
But then the killings start. Killings that shouldn’t be possible. Now the Police are on my case to solve the case, before the magical murderer strikes again and reveals the Underworld to all the unsuspecting humans.
I’ve got Sentinels, Irish mobsters, rogue vampires, and the Boston Police Department to deal with--not to mention a brutal anthropology test on Friday.
On top of it all, ghosts suddenly seem to have made it their sole mission to turn me into one.
Unfortunately for them, I’ve just ordered a few ice-cold cans of Whoop-Ass--and these phantoms are looking awful thirsty.
2. BLOOD TOMB - In this world, it’s bite or be Bitten…
One of Boston’s vampires has gone wild, biting humans willy-nilly all throughout the city, creating panic and threatening to reveal the entirety of the Underworld to humans.
If my friends and I don’t unmask him before long, the shaky alliance between the sentinels and the vampires might finally crumble–this time for good.
Even all of that would be fine and well, if it weren’t for a centuries-old secret that has finally been revealed, the consequences of which threaten just about everything and everyone I, Jake Rogers, hold dear.
Usually, I love secrets–but not this one, which brings with it promises of death and destruction for the entirety of Boston, should it get out.
Looks like another job for our hero…
Provided I can squeeze it in before class.
3. EMPTY SOUL - Just when I thought this city couldn’t get any crazier…
It’s been a relatively blissful few weeks since November’s Blood Moon, but much like store-bought guacamole, it’s only a matter of time before it all goes bad.
The first to disappear is a demon. I wasn’t all that torn up about that one. The fewer of them around, the better.
But then others start to disappear too, vampires and werewolves and witches alike.
It seems like someone is trying to collect them all in some sort of paranormal game of Pokemon. They’re disappearing right under our noses, and unless we can figure out what’s really going on, the whole city of Boston is at risk.
If we want to stop these abductions, old enemies will need to become new allies–but some wounds just aren’t able to heal.
If by some miracle we can all play nice, we might just make it to New Year’s…
As long as I don’t drop (dead) before that ball does.
4. IMMORTAL BOND - Spring is here, and it looks like someone is planning to bring the rain…
Ghosts are going haywire all throughout Boston, stretching the sentinels thin. Could it all be connected to the same dark force that’s haunted us in the past?
Survey says yes, but no one really cares what I think.
Until an old foe comes to me of all people to help figure out what’s wrong with the very force I walked away from after my brother’s disappearance.
If I go undercover, there’s a chance I can learn more about his disappearance and dig deeper into the shadow organization that seems to be running things from afar. But if I do go under, there’s a chance I might not resurface ever again.
On top of all that I’ve got a mysterious (but maddeningly familiar) burglar and some strange sightings around the city—looks like I’m in for some serious spring cleaning.
