Volume 1
An overnight contamination has occurred over an area of England, turning people exposed to the radiation into crazed cannibals. This forces survivors from all walks of life to come together and do what they can to survive. Unaware of what is happening, a group of young people in their twenties, are travelling back from a nightclub, in the early hours of Sunday morning, and are attacked in the countryside, forcing their driver, Paul Newbold, to run away and leave the rest to flee to the nearby pub. Not far away are man and wife who are unaware of what is happening. Paul goes into their house for safe refugee and, after watching the news on TV, the three of them slowly realise that the world that they had known does not exist anymore. So what do the youngsters do now? Wait? Or do the people in the pub and Paul risk trying to get home? Whatever they decide, not everyone will survive.
Volume 2
It’s a few days after the overnight contamination that occurred over the West Midlands area of England, turning people exposed to the radiation into crazed cannibals. And our young and older survivors are struggling to cope with a new reality. Paul Newbold and his friends have decisions to make and realise that the IOs are not the only danger that lurks around every corner. Humans, other survivors, are also making life difficult around the small village where they stay in the West Midland’s countryside. A realisation that killing non-infected people is something that has to be done to enhance survival, as well as killing the IOs, or The Travellers. However, a stranger turns up and turns the whole scenario on its head when he reveals the truth about what really is happening, sending the small group of survivors into a state of shock.
